​​Modern You Medical Aesthetics Inc. was founded in 2021 in Burlington, Ontario, by Naomi Myhre, a Cosmetic Nurse Injector with 15+ years of experience and an RPN for 18 years, with a commitment to providing safe, personalized, and effective medical aesthetic services. Our focus is on helping our clients achieve their desired natural-looking enhancements while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. At Modern You, we uphold the highest level of integrity by utilizing medical-grade products and treatments in a welcoming and inclusive environment that is accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or race. Our specialty lies in non-surgical natural cosmetic injectables, and we are dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field to offer our clients the best possible results.

Modern You Owner Naomi Myhre

NAOMI MYHRE

RPN | OWNER AND MASTER NURSE INJECTOR 15+ Years

Naomi stands as one of Burlington's earliest and most experienced Cosmetic Nurse Injectors, starting her Botox®, dermal filler and facial aesthetics journey in 2008 alongside cosmetic plastic surgeons, Dr. Stephen Mulholland and Dr. Hugh McLean as their senior nurse injector and post cosmetic surgical care nurse. With time, she has developed techniques that not only minimize discomfort but also bring you closer to your desired appearance without overdoing it. Naomi was Clarion Medical Technologies senior educator and sales rep for Teosyal dermal filler for south west Ontario and all Atlantic provinces, training doctors and nurses how to inject dermal filler in 2012.


Her reputation as a skilled injector extends throughout the industry. In addition to training her handpicked staff, Naomi has been invited to serve on the board of education at Seneca College, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the very first recognized Nurse Injector course. With Naomi's exceptional skills and dedication, you can trust that you'll receive quality care and achieve the results you desire for a more confident and rejuvenated you.Naomi wants to see that all of her patients' needs and concerns for enhancing or maintaining a certain look have been met, all while looking natural. Naomi strives to create confidence in each of her clients and believes it begins with living healthier lifestyles from what we ingest, to what amazing medical grade skin care products we use.

NP | NURSE PRACTITIONER LICENSED IN CANADA AND USA | MEDICAL DIRECTOR FOR MODERN YOU | COSMETIC NURSE INJECTOR 


Kelly Ross, our incredible Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director for Modern You. She's not only a dedicated healthcare professional but also a remarkable nurse injector, loving mom, and trusted friend. In 2016, Kelly received specialized training through ATP Injection Training, which she followed up with additional training from THMA Consulting in 2018. Currently, she is pursuing a dermatology certificate from the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners in the United States, broadening her knowledge of skin health and wellness.

MANDY MISO

COSMETIC PERMANENT MAKEUP TATTOO ARTIST 

Meet Mandy Miso, our exceptional Cosmetic Tattoo Artist and Medical Aesthetician with 14 years of experience in the Beauty Industry, including 8 years of expertise in tattooing. Mandy's passion for her craft and dedication to excellence have earned her the title of Canada's leading artist, and she serves as a mentor to numerous successful artists in the field.


Mandy's specialization lies in creating stunning eyebrows, lip blush, eyeliner, beauty marks, and lash enhancements. Beyond her  skills, she is also a valued educator, providing training and guidance to individuals aspiring to build a career in the world of permanent makeup.


In addition to her professional pursuits, Mandy is a devoted mother of three beautiful children, embodying the perfect balance of talent and nurturing spirit. Once you meet Mandy, her infectious energy and warm personality will leave you feeling truly uplifted and inspired.

Modern You Nurse Injector Stephanie

STEPHANIE HABIB

RPN | COSMETIC NURSE INJECTOR | REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST 

Stephanie's passion for human anatomy started at a young age. She began her journey as an injector first as a certified personal trainer/group fitness instructor, which propelled her into a career as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2011. She expanded her knowledge of the human body by becoming a RPN, gaining experience in many aspects of nursing including hospital rehab and a busy family physicians office. Stephanie is one of our senior injectors and has been a client favourite since starting at Modern You.


SELINA ITALIANO

RPN & RN | MEPN | COSMETIC NURSE INJECTOR 



Selina began her career as a medical aesthetician, gaining experience in the industry working for a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She has extensive experience with facial aesthetics and injectables, skin consultations, medical grade skin care, chemical peels, lasers and more. As an RPN, she spent a year assisting a cosmetic physician where she gained foundational knowledge on facial anatomy and learned product knowledge about dermal fillers like Teosyal and wrinkle relaxers like Nucieva and Botox. She bridged over to the RN program and completed the program with honors in 2023. She believes in being transparent with clients and achieving realistic results without compromising safety. 

Modern You Staff Nurse Taylor

TAYLOR SIMPSON

RPN | COSMETIC NURSE INJECTOR 

Taylor graduated from the Mohawk-McMaster Institute of Applied Health Sciences receiving her Practical Nursing Diploma. After graduation she started working at St. Peter's hospital in Hamilton and has been exposed to patients with many different needs. Taylor's dedication to patient care and her kindness spills over into her personal life as well. Always the first one to offer help or take control of a situation-she is a valued member of the Modern You Team. In addition to her hospital work , Taylor is an active member of WeRPN as well as the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Sydney graduated from the Mohawk-McMaster Institute of Applied Health Sciences receiving her Practical Nursing Diploma. Sydney started off working in palliative care and has a passion for the medical aesthetics field. The paths that she has gone through throughout nursing school have shaped her into the injector that she is today. Sydney is an active member of WeRPN as well as the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

Our Community

100 Women Who Care Burlington

A few years ago Modern You was in search of a charity to partner with. Rather than donating to a single organization, we aimed to find a way to aid numerous groups without it becoming too complicated. Our office manager, Kim, recommended 100 Women Who Care Burlington after attending a meeting with a friend. This excellent community charity benefits various local organizations and meets quarterly. Each member pledges to contribute at least $100 at every meeting, resulting in thousands of dollars for the chosen organization. At Modern You, we feature raffle baskets throughout the year with all proceeds benefiting 100 Women Who Care. Additionally, we donate 10% of any gift card sales to the charity. We encourage other businesses and women to participate in this outstanding organization. 

  • Who is 100 Women Who Care Burlington?

    Upon joining, all members/teams commit to making a donation of $100 (or $50 for those under 30) four times per year to a Registered Charity that is nominated and selected by the members.


    At each of our four, one-hour meetings, we listen to short pitches about 3 charitable organizations serving Burlington/Halton, and then vote on one charity to receive the entire pool of donations from our membership for that quarter. This can be a $10,000 impact for one charity in one evening!


    The receiving charities issue tax receipts for the donations.


    The goal is for 100 Women Who Care Burlington (Ontario) to collectively generate $40,000 (or more) annually for local charitable initiatives. The concept is simple, yet the impact is very powerful!

  • How do I become a member?

    Join Today! Anyone with an interest in supporting valuable local charitable organizations and the work they do in Burlington/Halton is welcome to join us as an Individual or Team Member! 


    Members are asked to sign up by completing and submitting a Commitment Form that you can find on 100 Women Who Care Website


    Each member/team gives four $100 (or $50 for under 30) tax deductible donations per year, learns more about ways to extend our generosity, skills and compassion to support the amazing happenings right here in our community.
