  • What is a Clear + Brilliant® treatment like?

    During your treatment appointment, our trained laser aesthetician or nurse will begin by cleansing your face to ensure it's free from any impurities.


    To ensure your comfort during the procedure, a topical numbing agent will be applied to the treatment area.


    The nurse/aesthetican will then pass the laser over the treatment area in quick, pulsating motions, accompanied by a beeping sound.


    You may experience a slight sensation of heat, similar to a mild sunburn, but the treatment is generally tolerable.


    After the laser treatment, your skin will be cooled for about 10 to 15 minutes.


    Before you leave the clinic, ZO Skin Health or AlumierMD sunscreen will be applied to protect your skin.

    After a Clear + Brilliant® laser treatment, there is minimal to no downtime. You may experience mild redness and swelling on the day of the treatment, which should subside within 24 hours.


    Some individuals may notice temporary flaking, roughness, or a mild acne breakout a few days or weeks after the treatment.


    To avoid side effects and ensure the best results, it's crucial to apply high SPF mineral sunscreen every two hours, even on cloudy days and when indoors, for the first week after the treatment.


    If you have recently tanned or have sunburned skin, or if you are using pigmenting lotions sprays (such as spray tans or self-tanners), or pregnant you will not be eligible for the treatment.

  • How many Clear + Brilliant® treatments do I need to see results?

    The number of Clear + Brilliant® laser treatments required may vary for each patient and can be customized accordingly. However, most individuals typically need three to six initial treatments, spaced one month apart for best results.


    After the initial treatment series, routine maintenance sessions may be necessary every three to four months.


    The longevity of results can vary from months to years, depending on the individual's original skin condition and response to the treatment. Proper post-treatment skin care also plays a role in maintaining the results.


    Results usually start becoming noticeable one to two weeks after a treatment session, but this timeline can differ from person to person.


    Unlike more aggressive treatments like CO2 SecretPRO skin resurfacing, Clear + Brilliant® is a gentler laser facial, meaning the changes with each session are subtler.
