01. Consultation
Your journey starts with a dedicated 60 minute, one on one consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, concerns and expectations while reviewing your medical history, lifestyle, skin type and any previous permanent makeup.
We’ll also walk through the treatment, healing, risks and expected results to ensure permanent makeup is right for you before moving forward.
0.2 Design, Colour + Your Treatment Plan
We’ll explore your desired shape, style and level of definition, using colour theory to select a pigment that complements your natural colouring. Your natural features, anatomy, balance and symmetry all help guide your customized plan.
You’ll leave knowing your recommended technique, shape and colour direction, expected results, pricing, healing, aftercare and maintenance.
Your PMU journey includes two treatment sessions + one healed follow-up, three appointments in total.
After your consultation, you’ll also receive a personalized Consultation Summary with everything discussed and recommended.
0.3 You Approve Before We Begin
Nothing permanent happens until you're happy with the plan.
You'll have the opportunity to see your mapped treatment, review it with your artist and make adjustments before treatment begins.
Once you're comfortable with the shape, colour, symmetry, you'll give your approval.
Only then does the treatment begin.
0.4 Your Treatment Day
When you return for your first treatment session, we begin by applying topical numbing to keep you comfortable throughout your appointment.
Using the technique and pigment selected specifically for you, your artist begins creating your desired permanent makeup look.
Before you leave, we'll review your aftercare instructions, what to expect during each stage of healing and when we'll see you again.
0.5 Your Second Session
Great permanent makeup is built in stages.
Your first session creates the foundation, but your permanent makeup needs time to heal before we know exactly how your skin has retained the pigment.
You'll return for your second session 6-8 weeks later once appropriately healed. At this appointment, we'll assess your results and perfect areas that may need additional pigment, definition or refinement.
0.6 Healed Follow Up & Maintenance
The final step is seeing how everything healed.
After your second session has fully healed, we'll see you once more for a follow-up to assess your final result.
From there, your permanent makeup becomes about maintenance rather than starting over. Pigment naturally fades with time, and an annual refresh can be recommended when your results are ready for one.

A combination of hair strokes and soft shading for clients who want the texture of hair strokes with a little more definition and fullness.
Combination / Hybrid Brows
Soft pixelated shading that creates the appearance of softly filled-in brow makeup, with a lighter front and more defined arch and tail.

Perfect for restoring colour that has faded over time, defining the natural lip border and creating a more polished, refreshed appearance.
Lip Blush
Lip Blush adds a soft wash of customized colour to enhance your natural lip tone, shape and definition. Your pigment is selected specifically for your colouring and desired result.
Lip Neutralization
Lip Neutralization is designed for lips with deeper, cool, brown, purple or grey undertones. Corrective pigments are used gradually to help balance the natural lip tone and create a more even foundation before moving toward your desired colour.

What is the difference between microblading, nano brows, powder brows and hybrid brows?
1. Microblading creates individual hair like strokes using a manual handheld tool.
2. Nano brows also create fine hair-like strokes, but use a permanent makeup machine rather than a manual blade.
3.Powder or ombré brows create a soft, shaded effect similar to brow makeup, while hybrid brows combine hair strokes with shading.
During your consultation, Mandy will recommend the technique based on your natural brow hair, skin type, existing pigment and desired result.
What is the difference between nano brows and microblading?
Nano brows and microblading are both permanent makeup techniques designed to create realistic, hair-like brow strokes. Microblading uses a manual handheld tool, while nano brows are created with a permanent makeup machine and fine needle. Your skin type, existing brow hair and desired result will help determine which technique is best suited for you.
How long do permanent makeup eyebrows last?
Permanent makeup eyebrows gradually fade over time, with longevity depending on your skin type, sun exposure, skincare routine, lifestyle and the brow technique used. Microblading, nano brows, powder brows and hybrid brows may fade at different rates. Once your brows have softened and lost definition, a maintenance or brow refresh appointment may be recommended.
Can I get new permanent brows if I already have old microblading or permanent makeup?
Possibly. Existing microblading or permanent makeup should be assessed before a new brow treatment is performed. Mandy will evaluate the existing pigment, colour, saturation, shape and condition of your brows to determine whether they can be corrected or worked over, or whether additional fading or permanent makeup removal should be considered first.
